6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Trevor Cahill (Achilles) will not make his scheduled start Saturday against the Royals due to a minor Achilles injury, per MLB.com's Jane Lee. Chris Bassitt was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start instead. Bassitt owns a 2-3 record with a 6.10 ERA in 10 outings, seven of which were starts, at Triple-A this season. He should be avoided Saturday despite the favorable matchup. As for Cahill, fantasy owners should monitor him closely as to when he will make his next start.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
