6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez is on a six-game hitting streak after a two-home run night. Martinez has been the only bat that can consistently carry the St. Louis Cardinals this year. His .315 average is more important than he gets credit for. He has great fantasy value due to his 39 RBI and 27 runs. He has also added three home runs in the last two days, which bring his season total up to eight. Martinez has 44 singles and 16 doubles this year. He's so well-rounded that he holds great value in any format.--Blake Sullivan
