6 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Yoan Moncada went 0-for-4 in Saturday's loss to the Boston Red Sox. Moncada has just eight hits in his last 41 at-bats (.195 average) and 2-for-21 (.095) in his past five contests. Through 54 games, the same number of appearances he made last season, Moncada has nearly identical numbers in homers (eight), average (.233) and OPS (.727). Encouragingly, Moncada is hitting the ball harder this season so the year-end stats could improve from his current pace. The 23-year-old youngster has been streaky in 2018 but his pedigree and 20/20 appeal should keep him on the fantasy radar.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
