6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman continues to make his way back from right shoulder inflammation, and the next step in the process will be a start on Wednesday. Toronto has not released details as to which affiliate Stroman will be pitching for. On Friday, Stroman threw a simulated game at the Blue Jays’ minor league complex in Florida, hurling three innings. Clearly, he’s making nice progress – we just don’t know how much with the team scant on details as to who he’s starting for and what kind of start it will be on Wednesday. When Stroman returns, he’s a good bet to improve upon the awful 7.71 ERA he put up prior to injury.--John Smith
