6 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana picked up an important win against the division-leading Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers were only able to scratch two runs on four hits against Quintana. He only had three strikeouts in this contest, but for the most part he has been getting quite a few. He has a respectable 8.96 K/9. Quintana has yielded five or less hits in his last five starts. One issue he has had is walking batters. He can be inconsistent from start to start, but he offers a high ceiling if he does well. He looks to lower his 4.09 ERA when he faces the St. Louis Cardinals next.--Blake Sullivan
