6 years agoMark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports that Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (back) is traveling with the team and he "will try to ramp things up next week." Zimmerman has been on the disabled list since May 12 with back soreness and had reportedly been nearing a rehab assignment at the beginning of the month. While Nationals fans will be glad to see a fan favorite return to the field, fantasy owners will likely remain indifferent to his return, as his .217 average and .689 OPS prior to going on the DL had left a sour opinion in the minds of many owners.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
