David Njoku Expected To Make Big Step Forward
6 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku finished his rookie season in 2017 with 32 catches for 386 yards and four touchdowns. According to head coach Hue Jackson, Njoku wore down as the season went on, an occurrence which is not unheard of for a rookie. That being said, Jackson expects Njoku to take a big step forward in 2018. The Browns are already committed to Njoku as the starting tight end for the upcoming season. Njoku has some appeal as a breakout candidate in 2018 but he will have plenty of competition for targets in a crowded pass-catching corps in Cleveland.
