6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs (forearm) was encouraged about his extended bullpen session on Wednesday and will throw to hitters at extended spring training on Saturday, per the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser. Triggs is working his way back from a forearm injury that landed him on the 10-day disabled list. The 29-year-old has a 3-1 record with a 5.23 ERA, 43 strikeouts and 18 walks in 41 1/3 innings pitched this season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
