6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infield prospect Kevin Maitan will make his Angels affiliate debut with the short-season Orem Owlz. Their roster was just released. Maitan was signed by the Angels after the Braves were hit with violations leading to 12 prospects getting released. Maitan was ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the Angels system (behind Shohei Ohtani) at the start of the season. The 18-year-old infielder is still a long ways away from reaching the big leagues, but he is a prospect that should be owned in dynasty formats going forward.--patton
