6 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop prospect Franklin Barreto has been off to a sluggish start this season for Triple-A Nashville. Barreto is hitting .232 with seven home runs and 21 RBI. Barreto has had two stints in the big leagues this year and is hitless in six at-bats. Barreto is still just 22 years old and was the main piece that the club acquired from the Blue Jays for Josh Donaldson in 2014. Barreto still remains one of the top shortstop prospects in the game and should be owned in dynasty leagues. He can be avoided in redraft leagues for now as he hasn't played much when he has been on the active roster.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
