6 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfield prospect Austin Hays (ankle) will remain in a walking boot for at least two weeks. Hays quickly arrived in the big leagues last season after starting the season in Advanced-A ball and then crushing Double-A pitching. Hays struggled in spring training and began the year with Triple-A Bowie. Hays consistently hit for average and power last season, but was struggling to find his groove against Triple-A pitching prior to injuring his ankle. Hays remains a nice fit for dynasty owners due to his power and average potential, but he is unlikely to have much of an impact in redraft leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
