6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect Alex Verdugo has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Verdugo has never been a huge power hitter, but he can drive the ball to all fields and has great contact skills. Verdugo is now hitting .323 with four home runs and 24 RBI. Verdugo has already appeared in the big leagues this year, but it is better for his development to get everyday at-bats. With outfielder Matt Kemp having a career year, Verdugo will likely need an injury to be of relevance in redraft leagues.
