6 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfield prospect Chris Shaw is having a nice season for Triple-A Sacramento. Shaw converted from first base to outfield this offseason. Shaw is hitting .262, which is below his career average of .278, but he does have 11 home runs and 33 RBI. Shaw is currently blocked in the Giants outfield and also by teammates Steven Duggar and Austin Slater. All three players project to be the future outfield for the Giants but are all currently blocked. Shaw is likely to break camp with the Giants in 2019 but is unlikely to have a big impact in 2018. Shaw is worth watching in all formats for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
