6 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Freddy Galvis went 5-for-5 with a three-run homer Saturday against the Atlanta Braves. The round-tripper was his fourth of the season and the career night brings his season slash to .242/.303/.363. The defense-first Galvis has accumulated decent runs (26) and RBI (28) this season but underwhelmed in the power department and is only 3-for-7 in stolen base attempts. Galvis does not profile as a useful fantasy asset but he did average 16 homers and 16 steals for the Philadelphia Phillies between 2016-2017. Durability isn't a concern though, Galvis will continue starting every day for the Friars.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
