BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Pirates utility player Josh Harrison has five multi-hit games in his last eight games, seeing his batting average jump to .297. He has also recorded an RBI in three of the last four games and has scored a run in back-to-back games.
Harrison, who only has four home runs this season, hit two of his home runs in the last week and has a .473 slugging percentage since May 20. His line drive rate (32.9%) is excellent in that time period and he also has a 31.3% hard hit ball rate over that time span. Considering his line drive rate and hard hit ball rate, his BABIP (.338) actually seems a bit unlucky considering his .319 since May 20.
The Pirates will use Harrison all over the field and, for that reason, fantasy owners can use Harrison to fill one of many gaps. He might not be the best option in more shallow leagues, but his combination of power and speed is a good asset in deeper leagues.
