6 years agoCincinnati Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton had a great game overall on Sunday against the Pirates, going 3-for-4 with three singles, two steals, and an amazing diving catch at the warning track. The game was a display of Hamilton's skills of speed and solid defense. He now has a .197/.285/.282 slash line with 13 stolen bases in 67 games. Fantasy owners have come to rely on Hamilton as a top steals option, and while he now has three steals in his last three games, his pace has not been nearly what it has been for the past three seasons. He has struggled to get on base and is now batting ninth in the order, so his opportunities to steal have been limited.
