6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starter Johnny Cueto (elbow) could start a minor league rehab assignment as soon as Saturday. He will be evaluated after he plays catch on Thursday. He has done several bullpen sessions already and was facing live batters earlier in the week. Cueto has been out since May 1 with a strained right elbow. He was enjoying a great start to the season before the injury. He has a 3-0 record, 0.84 ERA and 0.68 WHIP through five starts. Cueto should be a serviceable second fantasy starter upon his return as long as there are no ill effects from the injury.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
