7 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Manager Aaron Boone said he's going to sit Gardner even if he's healthy enough to play. Boone believes Gardner can avoid a trip to the disabled list but wants to give him a chance to rest. Clint Frazier will get the start in left on Wednesday. Most owners in 12-team standard leagues are going to want to pass on Gardner. Otherwise, he's worth a look in deeper mixed leagues when he's healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
