6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Tyler Mahle turned in his fourth consecutive solid outing in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Tigers. Mahle allowed two runs (both on solo home runs) on five hits and four walks with eight strikeouts in six innings. The 23-year-old has been plagued by the long ball all season and has now allowed 15 HRs in 81 innings. Despite that, he has posted a serviceable 3.89 ERA with 76 strikeouts and 36 walks. Mahle will look to continue his run of good starts Monday against the Braves.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
