6 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Franklin Barreto had a monster day at the plate in Wednesday's 12-4 slaughtering of the Padres. The 22-year-old went 2-for-5 with a single, a massive three-run home run to straight away center field (his first of the season) and two strikeouts. Barreto has batted just .158 with 10 strikeouts in 20 plate appearances this season but will look to get into a rhythm with consistent playing time due to injuries. He should be rostered in dynasty leagues but is not yet worth a roster spot in single-season leagues until he can show consistency at the plate.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
