6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. (shoulder) played catch on Friday. If Edwards feels good after Friday, his next step could be to throw off of a mound. Edwards has been on the disabled list since May 30 with inflammation in his right shoulder.
