6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Clayton Richard picked up his fourth consecutive win Friday, firing six innings of two-run ball against the San Francisco Giants. Richard relinquished only three hits while walking none and fanning four. Since May, Richard has tallied quality starts in eight of his 10 outings with six victories. He's gone less than six frames just once in that span. The innings-eater is rocking a 2.77 ERA and 0.92 WHIP during his winning streak, and his season line sits at a 4.23 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 7.3 K/9. Richard's success has placed him firmly in the weekly starter discussion. His next chance comes Wednesday in Arlington against the Texas Rangers.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
