6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and a strikeout in Friday's 10-7 extra-inning win over the Braves. Davis smashed an opposite-field HR off of Sean Newcomb in the fifth inning for his fifth HR of the season. He had sat the last eight games in an attempt to figure things out at the plate, as he has posted a poor .152/.233/.242 slash line with 87 strikeouts and 17 RBI in 58 games. Davis' elite power has proved valuable in fantasy in the past, but he has a lot to prove before fantasy players can rely on him again.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
