6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo turned in a decent performance in Friday's 6-3 win over the Cubs. Castillo allowed three runs on four hits (including a two-run home run) and a walk with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old has had a disappointing sophomore season and now has a 5-8 record with a 5.70 ERA, a 1.40 WHIP and 18 home runs allowed in 83 2/3 innings. At this point in the season, fantasy owners can only hope that Castillo can get his HR troubles under control. He will face a tough matchup in the Braves on Wednesday.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
