6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea delivered another solid performance in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Tigers. Manaea pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits (including a two-run home run) and a walk with two strikeouts. The lefty has been a solid fantasy asset this season, posting an 8-6 record with a 3.38 ERA. His 6.50 K/9 rate is supbar and his .219 BABIP vs a career .279 BABIP suggests that he has gotten lucky on balls in play, but never-the-less, Manaea has helped out fantasy owners immensely so far.
