6 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Covey had a night to forget on Friday versus the Texas Rangers. Covey allowed nine runs (eight earned), eight hits, three walks and failed to record a strikeout over 2 1/3 innings Friday. Covey gave up four home runs in the outing, which caused much of the damage against the right-hander. Covey got off to a nice start this season, but has now given up 18 runs (16 earned) over his last three starts. Covey will look for better results Wednesday versus the Reds. Covey can be avoided in most formats as he continues to struggle.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
