6 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. exited Saturday’s game early. Almora was grabbing his quad after he hit a single in the bottom half of the fifth inning. Almora stayed in for one batter and then was taken out of the game. Almora should be considered day-to-day for now and more should be known shortly on the extent of the injury. Almora finished the day 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI and a run scored. He is now hitting .332 on the season and is worth a look in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
