6 years agoTyler Chatwood has been a bad investment for the Chicago Cubs. The starting pitcher struggled on Saturday giving up seven earned runs over five innings. Chatwood managed to strike out six batters, but he gave up seven hits and three walks. He has had issues with the strike zone this season, and has an ugly 8.30 BB/9. He hasn't won a game since May 5th against the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs accumulated 20 hits on Saturday but it was too late to save Chatwood. He has a lot to figure out in a short amount of time, or the Cubs will have to find a different role for him.--Blake Sullivan
