Will Smith Records Last Out For Second Save In A Row
6 years agoWill Smith struck out the final batter in Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The San Francisco Giants pitcher picked up the save which was the second of the year for him, and it was just the third of his major league career. Smith has been fairly successful this year as he has a 1.13 ERA. He has been fanning batters at an impressive clip with a 12.38 K/9. This could be an opportunity to take the closer spot as Mark Melancon hasn't been able to take the reigns. Smith would see a jump in his value if that happens. Keep an eye on him to see how the Giants use him in the upcoming days.
