6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Luis Perdomo was recalled from Triple-A El Paso and is starting Wednesday against the Oakland Athletics. Perdomo returns to the Friars rotation after spending almost three months in the minors working on his mechanics. He posted a 3.10 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 11 Triple-A starts. Perdomo was rocked in four starts for the Padres before being sent down with an 8.36 ERA, 2.50 WHIP and 42 percent hard-hit rate. Perdomo has tantalizing stuff and manager Andy Green believes he could "be here the rest of the [season]" if his adjustments lead to more consistency. Due to his volatile track record, Perdomo is best left on the waiver wire in his return on Wednesday.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
