BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Washington Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor has found a way to stay in the lineup, even with the addition of players off of the disabled list. Taylor has a hit in the last four games that he has started and even scored three runs in a 2-for-4 performance against the Marlins on June 5. The most impressive thing about Taylor, though, are his 23 steals this season.
While he has not stolen a base since June 24, Taylor is 10-for-14 on stolen bases attempts since the beginning of June and his .395 OBP has aided his stolen bases. Taylor has cooled off of late, but is 27-for-82 since June 1 and has 10 RBI and 12 runs scored. While he has only six extra-base hits in this time span (a home run and five doubles), his combination of speed and average is very attractive.
Playing time is the issue with Taylor, as the Nationals have Juan Soto, Bryce Harper, and Adam Eaton as the main starters in the outfield. That being said, Taylor will still be used as a pinch runner in games that he does not play and will also be used as a spot starter when the starters need a day off. Even though Taylor does not play every day, he is a good option in deeper leagues.
