6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea lasted only four innings but did not factor into the decision of a 6-5 loss to the Astros Tuesday. Manaea was pulled after only throwing 83 pitches to get through four innings. He finished the night allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out four and walking one batter. One of the runs allowed was a solo homer to Alex Bregman in the first inning. Manaea will take his 8-6 record and 3.44 ERA to San Francisco for his last start before the All-Star break.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
