BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 35% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Houston Astros outfielderJosh Reddick has had something of a bizarre season thus far. He blasted six home runs in his first 18 games, then went over two months before hitting another. After hitting .281 and .314 in the last two seasons, Reddick's average was as low as .221. He has brought it up more than 40 points since then, hitting a robust .305/.345/.390 with a pair of home runs and four stolen bases since the beginning of June.
The counting stats are likely to continue falling into the "modest" bucket, but Reddick looks well on his way to another season of being a plus in batting average. He has scored 13 runs since June 1 and has mostly been hitting in the middle of the Astros lineup. Reddick also had three multi-hit games in a four game period from July 3-July 6.
Given how well he is swinging the bat right now, he is worth owning in all but the shallowest leagues. The Astros lineup will also help with counting stats, so add Reddick as outfield depth at a minimum.
