James Paxton Could Return To Rotation On Tuesday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (back) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Saturday. If all goes well, he could return to the team's rotation on Tuesday. He has been out since Jul 12 with lower back stiffness. He has pitched to a 8-4 record with a 3.70 ERA and a 155/33 K/BB ratio this season, including an impressive no-hitter against the Blue Jays in May. He appears to almost be fully healthy following his back injury and assuming he returns on Tuesday, he'll be in play in both season-long and daily leagues.
