Bradley Zimmer Out 8-12 Months Following Shoulder Surgery
6 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer (shoulder) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder on Saturday and is expected to be sidelined for the next eight to 12 months. That timeline eliminates him for the rest of the season and likely into 2019 as well. Zimmer has shown promise during his short MLB career, hitting .237 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI and 22 stolen bases over 135 games. He'll now focus on trying to rehab his shoulder and returning to full health. If Zimmer is the same player once he returns from injury is yet to be known.
