Dodgers Remain Active In Zach Britton Trade Talks
6 years agoDespite already acquiring Manny Machado from the Orioles, the Los Angeles Dodgers remain interested in Baltimore closer Zach Britton. The Dodgers want Britton to be their setup man to Kenley Jansen, giving them one of the most potent 1-2 punches in recent memory. If Britton were to be traded to the Dodgers, he would lose his fantasy value as he will no longer be seeing save chances, but he would give Los Angeles undoubtedly the highest odds to win the World Series. Britton has pitched to a 3.68 ERA and a 13/9 K/BB ratio in 2018. He has looked strong in recent appearances after returning from an Achilles injury.
