Anthony DeSclafani Takes Loss In Short Outing Saturday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani fell to 4-3 in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Pirates. DeSclafani lasted just 4 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits (including two home runs) and two walks with six strikeouts. He now has a 5.40 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP on the season. At this point, DeSclafani is only worth a look as a streamer in favorable matchups, which will not be the case in his next start Thursday at home against the Phillies.
