ANALYSIS: C.J. Cron has predictably not maintained the torrid pace he set early in the season, but that doesn't mean he can't still help your fantasy squad. In fact, after a putrid June, he's rebounded quite nicely in July. The 28-year-old has five multi-hit games this month, which has helped him to produce a .375/.426/.708 line. Cron has also flashed improved plate discipline in that time, posting easily his best walk and strikeout rate of the year on a monthly basis.

For the season, Cron is hitting .253/.326/.474 with 19 homers and 95 R+BI in 91 games. That HR total is already a career high, after three straight seasons with 16. Owners in need of a corner infielder with pop can add him in over half of Yahoo leagues currently.
