Ross was spotted a three-run lead in the first inning and never looked back, going five frames allowing two earned runs. He punched out five while surrendering five hits and three walks. The victory brings the veteran's ERA to 4.29 and WHIP to 1.29. Ross has enjoyed a solid season and has been linked to trade rumors with the deadline nearing.
