6 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Logan Morrison (hip) was activated from the disabled list on Sunday ahead of his team's game against the Kansas City Royals. Batting fifth in his return to action, Morrison went 0-for-3 with one RBI and one walk in the game. The veteran slugger has been a disappointment in his first season with the Twins, batting just .191 with 11 homers, 34 runs, and 32 RBI. The Twins would probably love to unload him at the July 31 trade deadline but they may have a hard time finding any takers. He will look to heat up in Toronto on Monday against Blue Jays starter Luis Santos.--Matt T - RotoBaller
