6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland hit his 12th homer of the season in a 5-3 victory over the Orioles Monday. Moreland has cooled off tremendously from his .305 average in April and .300 in May. Currently his average sits at .274 on the year. In the last 30 days, Moreland has two homers with 10 RBI and a lowly .190 batting average. He is a victim of a .196 BABIP during that time so a correction could be on the horizon. If he can make the corrections, Moreland can become a serious asset in an explosive Boston lineup.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
