7 years agoNew York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold hasn't reported to training camp as of Tuesday, according to a source. He's staying away because his contract isn't done yet. However, official practices don't begin until Friday, so there is still time. The third overall pick in the draft may be the most NFL-ready of all the signal callers, but he probably won't be in line to start in Week 1. He's not worth drafting in most seasonal leagues, even though the Jets have upgraded their receiving corps.
