7 years agoDisgruntled Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas has expressed interest in playing for the Oakland Raiders and reached out to owner Mark Davis in Las Vegas, according to a source. All offseason the Dallas Cowboys were the likely landing spot for Thomas' services, but the Seahawks asking price has been too high. Thomas wants out of Seattle and has no intentions of showing up to training camp in order to force the team's hand. Barring a new deal, Thomas is believed to be "done" with the team and plans to sell his Seattle home. Thomas would surely be an upgrade over the 34-year-old Reggie Nelson at free safety in Oakland. It's getting messy for Thomas in Seattle. At this point, it'd be a surprise if he's playing for them in Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
