6 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have recalled pitcher Ryan Borucki from Triple-A to start on Tuesday against the Twins. Reliever Tim Mayza was sent down in a corresponding move. Borucki has pitched to an 0-1 record with a 3.52 ERA and a 21/10 K/BB ratio at the major league level in 2018. Borucki has a career 3.77 ERA at the minor league level and has struck out 401 batters, so perhaps he has potential down the line. For now, it's best to take a wait and see approach on Borucki to see if he can stick in the major league rotation.--Dan Fappiano
