7 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) will not throw for the next few days and will need a rehab assignment before he returns to the rotation. The Shark has had a bad year and just can't stay healthy. He's sporting a 1-5 record, 6.25 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 6.0 K/9 over 10 starts. Fantasy owners will want to see him return successfully before considering him again. In the meantime, Derek Holland should remain in the starting rotation and can be a deep league streamer in the right matchups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
