6 years agoOakland Athletics closer Blake Treinen struck out one batter in a scoreless 10th inning against the Rangers to earn his 25th save of the season. The A’s offense has been clicking on all cylinders, which keeps them in every game and presents more save opportunities for Treinen. He has a 5-2 record with a minuscule 1.06 ERA and an excellent strikeout rate (31.3%). Treinen continues to be an elite closer option.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
