7 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller (knee) allowed four runs on two hits while walking one and hitting a batter in just one-third of an inning in his rehab outing for Double-A Akron on Tuesday. “I think I’m starting to check boxes. I feel healthy, which is good. It’s as good as I’ve felt in a long time. Yeah, the results weren’t good, but I honestly think I threw the ball pretty well at the start of it," Miller said. The Indians will likely have Miller keep throwing on the farm until they see better results and deem him ready. It's been a trying year for the shutdown lefty reliever, as he has a 4.40 ERA and 1.61 WHIP over 14 1/3 innings. It's getting a bit harder to keep him stashed in shallow leagues at this point, but he can be great for ratios in deeper leagues and holds leagues when he's on point.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
