7 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers have discussed trading for New York Mets starting pitcher Zack Wheeler, according to sources. However, no deal is close. Wheeler is attractive because he's under club control for several more seasons. He's gone 4-6 with a 4.33 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 8.6 K/9 over 19 starts (114 1/3 innings). Wheeler is also sporting a career-low 3.2 BB/9, which has helped him stay consistent for the most part. He'd definitely benefit from a trade to a contender.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
