7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Jake Lamb (shoulder) suffered a left shoulder contusion and was removed from the game early on Thursday. He struck out in his only plate appearance on Thursday and is hitting just .222 with six home runs and 31 RBI on the season as a disappointment for his fantasy owners. It doesn't sound like the injury is too serious, though, so consider him day-to-day for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
