6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi was ineffective in 4 1/3 innings Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, serving up three homers and five earned runs. The southpaw surrendered six hits and three walks while striking out three. Although Lucchesi has generally impressed in his rookie season, durability has been an issue and Sunday was no different. He has gone 12 consecutive starts without completing six innings. Lucchesi still holds a solid 3.74 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 9.1 K/9 and is worth fantasy consideration in most formats. With a 2.81 ERA on the road, he'll square off against the Chicago Cubs next Saturday at Wrigley Field.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
